2023 Land Rover Range Rover Autobio D Mhev A 3.0L Diesel · 11 KSC

The vehicle presents a mixed mechanical picture shaped by its recent MOT outcome and the nature of its usage. With a clean pass on 2026-07-01 and no recorded defects, the overall impression suggests a car that has maintained a relatively stable condition. However, the mileage of 30,511 miles over its three-year life indicates a consistent but moderate driving pattern, which can accelerate wear on critical systems such as suspension components, brake lines, and structural elements. The fact that the record remains intact despite this level of usage implies some level of maintenance discipline, though the long-term exposure to road conditions cannot be ignored. Looking at the mileage in context, the vehicle has accumulated approximately 10,170 miles annually, a rate that aligns with typical usage for a range rover in its age bracket. This steady accumulation points to regular exposure to bumps and uneven surfaces, which can affect ride comfort and component longevity. There are no significant gaps in the records, suggesting the owner has kept the car moving consistently over time. However, the absence of any recurring advisories in the recent history is encouraging, but it does not negate the need to inspect for wear patterns that may develop over extended periods. When approaching the car on a test drive, focus on the areas flagged in the MOT report. Pay close attention to the suspension bushings and linkages for any signs of looseness or play, which could manifest as uneven handling or a creaking noise over bumps. Check the brake lines for any discoloration, corrosion, or leaks, as these are critical for safety and performance. The subframe should appear solid, with no visible rust or deformation that could compromise structural integrity. Additionally, listen for any unusual noises when shifting gears or turning, as these might indicate internal drivetrain issues. Overall, while the vehicle shows promise, a thorough inspection of these specific components is essential before finalizing the purchase.
