1984 Toyota Corolla 1.6L Petrol · A16 PVB

The Toyota Corolla passed its most recent MOT on 4 April 2023 at 117,034 miles with no defects recorded, giving a clean roadworthiness status. The maintenance trend cannot be judged as stable, worsening, or improving from a single test entry, but the absence of advisories at that inspection indicates the vehicle met all legal standards on the day. Recorded mileage stands at 117,034 against a 42-year lifespan, an average of roughly 2,787 miles per year. This is low for the age and suggests either light use or extended periods off the road. The MOT history supplied contains only the April 2023 pass, so no prior entries exist to reveal gaps or rapid accumulation; the single clean record offers no evidence of neglect through failed tests. A buyer should still inspect the car in person for age-related corrosion on structural panels and suspension mounting points, as a 1984 vehicle stored for long spells risks hidden rust unseen in a pass result. Check suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs for deterioration from standing, and confirm the exhaust emissions remain within limits given the carburetted engine. The clean 2023 test gives no cause for alarm but does not certify condition beyond that date.
