2022 Land Rover Defender XS Edition Mhev Auto 3.0L Petrol · A1 NLH

The Land Rover Defender XS Edition MHEV Auto presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent DVSA test on 24 June 2025 at 6,299 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, indicating the vehicle met all statutory requirements at that point and showed no advisories or outstanding faults. The recorded mileage of 6,299 miles against an approximate four-year age equates to roughly 1,575 miles per year, a low figure for this model's age. The single MOT entry from June 2025 provides limited historical depth, but the clean result at that date with no prior failures or advisories on file suggests either very light use or a vehicle that has remained largely stationary between tests. No rapid accumulation or erratic gaps are evident from the supplied record. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of structural integrity and corrosion-prone areas beneath the chassis, given the Defender's off-road design and the risk that low mileage reflects prolonged standing rather than active maintenance. Suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs may show degradation from inactivity even without test-flagged defects. Verify the service history matches the low mileage claim and confirm fluid intervals were observed despite limited use. The absence of recorded advisories does not exempt the buyer from checking binding calipers or exhaust emissions systems during a pre-purchase examination.
