1984 Honda C70 0.1L Petrol · A351 POT

The 1984 Honda C70 presents a stable roadworthiness trend. The most recent test on 14 January 2023 at 16,744 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, matching the prior clean pass on 12 February 2022 at 16,547 miles. The maintenance record shows no advisories or failures across both entries, indicating the machine has been presented in sound condition at each examination. The odometer reflects exceptionally low use for a 42-year-old vehicle. Between the February 2022 and January 2023 tests the bike covered just 197 miles, averaging roughly 399 miles per year across its life. Such limited accumulation points to light running or extended periods in storage rather than neglect through high wear. The sparse two-entry history offers no evidence of rapid mileage spikes or concerning gaps beyond the single year between tests. A buyer should still verify in person what static records cannot show. Long standing invites perished rubber, seized cables, and internal corrosion in the fuel system or exhaust despite a clean MOT. The tester noted no structural rust or suspension bush wear, yet four decades will age components the test did not flag. Inspect the frame and fork for hidden corrosion, check brake calipers and drums for binding after storage, and confirm tyre sidewalls have not cracked from age. The clean advisories suggest a cared-for example, but physical inspection remains essential on a machine of this vintage.
