2013 Audi A6 2.0L Diesel · A6 HPU

The 2013 Audi A6 demonstrates stable roadworthiness, with all five MOT tests from 2021 to 2026 passing without defects. The most recent 2026-03-19 test at 97,465 miles confirmed no issues, aligning with the consistent pattern of prior passes. No recurring faults or escalating problems are evident in the record, suggesting the vehicle has been maintained to meet legal standards. The absence of advisories or critical failures indicates the previous owner prioritized basic upkeep, though the lack of detailed defect reports limits insight into finer mechanical conditions. The mileage progression reflects typical usage for a 13-year-old vehicle, averaging 7,497 miles annually. Gaps in the MOT history, such as the 2021-09-20 test at 64,695 miles followed by no records until 2022-08-26, suggest possible irregular maintenance intervals. However, the 2022-08-26 test at 89,226 miles and subsequent passes show no signs of accelerated wear. The 2023-10-23 test at 93,596 miles marked a 4,370-mile increase from the prior year, which is within normal parameters. The clean record through 2026 implies no major systemic issues, though the sparse data prevents a deeper analysis of long-term component degradation. A buyer should conduct a detailed inspection of suspension components, particularly rear coil springs and bushings, which can degrade over time without triggering MOT failures. Brake systems, including calipers and discs, should be checked for corrosion or uneven wear, as these often develop gradually. Structural integrity remains unconfirmed by the MOT data, so a visual assessment for rust or panel damage is advisable. While the vehicle meets legal requirements, its age and mileage warrant scrutiny of non-MOT-related elements, such as fluid leaks, steering alignment, and electrical systems, to ensure continued reliability.
