1983 Honda CB900 0.9L Petrol · A762 ORV

The Honda CB900 presents a currently roadworthy status based on the most recent DVLA MOT test conducted on 2 November 2023 at 26,482 miles, where the tester issued a pass with no defects recorded. The available maintenance trend is stable and clean, showing no worsening or recurring advisory pattern across the supplied history. The recorded mileage of 26,482 at the November 2023 test equates to an average of roughly 616 miles per year across the machine's 43-year life, confirming exceptionally light use for a 1983 motorcycle. The single supplied entry shows no rapid accumulation or notable gaps in documented testing, though the sparse record limits longitudinal comparison. Low annual mileage of this order often indicates prolonged standing periods rather than continuous road use. A buyer should physically inspect the CB900 for corrosion on structural frame members and suspension mounting points, as standing storage accelerates rust where moisture collects. The tester flagged no binding calipers or worn suspension bushes at the 2023 examination, but dormant brake discs and aged rubber components remain latent risks unseen in a clean pass. Given the absence of recorded advisories, previous keepers appear to have maintained basic test compliance, yet the lone entry provides no evidence of proactive consumable renewal. A pre-purchase check of tyre sidewall cracking, brake hose condition, and chain tension is warranted given the low-mileage dormant profile.
