1983 Puch Maxi 0.0L Petrol · A865 OAV

The vehicle remains roadworthy based on its MOT history, with no defects recorded in the three consecutive annual tests from 2021 to 2023. The most recent 2023 test at 4,432 miles confirmed compliance, indicating a stable maintenance trend with no emerging issues. No advisories or failures were noted across the period, suggesting consistent adherence to basic upkeep. The recorded mileage of 4,432 miles over 43 years equates to an average of 103 miles annually, reflecting minimal usage. The MOT entries are spaced precisely one year apart, with no gaps or rapid mileage spikes to indicate irregularities. The absence of defects in all tests implies the vehicle has been maintained to meet legal standards, though the low mileage raises questions about long-term storage effects on components like rubber seals, suspension bushes, and battery health. A buyer should physically inspect the vehicle for signs of prolonged inactivity, such as dry-rotted tyres, seized suspension joints, or corrosion in hidden panels. The lack of recorded issues does not preclude age-related degradation, particularly in electrical systems or bodywork. Focus on checking brake disc thickness, exhaust system integrity, and steering linkage play, as these components may show wear undetected by MOT tests. The vehicle’s low mileage warrants a thorough pre-purchase inspection to confirm its mechanical soundness beyond documented compliance.
