1991 Pilgrim Sumo 5.7L Petrol · AC03 RAG

A consistent record of roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with eight consecutive MOT passes recorded since 2016 without a single defect or advisory noted. This trend of stability extends to the most recent test on 23 April 2026, where the vehicle passed with no issues, mirroring the results of the previous five annual inspections. The recorded mileage of 3,501 miles is exceptionally low for a vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 100 miles per year. Such a usage profile indicates the vehicle has spent significant periods stationary, which is further evidenced by the gaps in testing between 2017 and 2020, and again between 2020 and 2022. Mechanically, this implies minimal wear on the drivetrain and suspension components, though it confirms the vehicle has not been subjected to regular operational cycles. Given the total absence of advisories across the recorded history, there are no specific mechanical failures or recurring defects to monitor. The lack of flagged corrosion, oil leaks, or suspension wear in the DVSA records suggests the structural integrity and chassis components have remained stable through the testing intervals. Due to the identified periods of inactivity and the extremely low annual mileage, a physical inspection should focus on the condition of rubber components and fluid integrity. During a test drive, pay close attention to the operation of the braking system for any signs of binding calipers or pedal inconsistency, and listen for any unusual noises from the suspension bushes that may have hardened during long periods of standing.
