2005 Porsche 911 3.8L Petrol · AE54 MVH

The vehicle presents a highly stable roadworthiness profile based on a consistently clean MOT history. The most recent test on 4 December 2025 at 66,627 miles resulted in no defects or advisories, mirroring the perfect results of the previous four years. This consistency suggests a vehicle that is maintained to a high standard and does not suffer from the mechanical or structural degradation typically seen in cars this age. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a twenty-one-year-old Porsche, averaging approximately 3,173 miles per year. Between November 2022 and December 2025, the car covered only 46 miles, moving from 66,581 to 66,627. This indicates the vehicle likely sits for long periods or is used only very occasionally. While low mileage reduces wear on drivetrain components and the engine, it increases the risk of degradation in rubber-based components and fluid-related issues that occur regardless of distance. Given the lack of recorded faults in the history, a physical inspection should focus on risks associated with low-mileage storage. A buyer must check for perished or cracked rubber seals, brake lines, and suspension bushes which may dry out without regular use. The brake discs should be examined for surface corrosion or pitting, as stationary calipers can develop uneven wear. Additionally, the integrity of the engine fluids and oil quality should be verified to ensure that long periods of inactivity have not led to internal oxidation or moisture accumulation.
