2013 Honda FIT 1.3L Hybrid electric · AG13 FFE

The vehicle currently presents a clean roadworthiness status as evidenced by the most recent MOT test on November 5 2025. At 59,144 miles, the car passed with no defects or advisories recorded, indicating a stable maintenance trend where the vehicle meets all minimum safety and emission standards without immediate mechanical or structural failures flagged by the tester. With a recorded mileage of 59,144 miles over 13 years, the vehicle has averaged approximately 4,550 miles per annum. This low-usage pattern suggests light use, which typically reduces the wear on the drivetrain and engine components. However, low mileage often masks age-related degradation rather than mileage-related wear. The data from the November 2025 test confirms the vehicle has remained in operational condition recently despite the long intervals between potential uses. A buyer should focus their in-person inspection on components that degrade through time and inactivity rather than distance. Examine the rubber-based elements, such as suspension bushes and split hoses, for cracking or perish rot which is common in vehicles that sit for periods. Check the brake discs for surface corrosion or seized calipers, as low-mileage cars are prone to rust buildup on the braking system. While the MOT record is clean, a physical check of the underbody for structural corrosion remains necessary to ensure the low mileage has not hidden hidden oxidation on the chassis.
