2011 Ford Mondeo 2.2L Diesel · AJ11 HTX

The 2011 Ford Mondeo presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 24 September 2025 at 133,746 miles passed with no defects recorded, and the prior clean pass dated 11 July 2024 at 132,894 miles confirms no outstanding advisories across the visible history. Annual mileage sits at roughly 8,900 miles, typical for a fifteen-year-old vehicle. The records show steady accumulation: 113,472 miles in July 2022, 122,565 miles in July 2023, and 132,894 miles by July 2024, before a modest 852-mile rise to the 2025 test. A duplicate 11 July 2024 entry shows one failed attempt with no defects logged, suggesting an administrative or process anomaly rather than a mechanical fault, though the buyer should clarify this with DVSA. No advisories or defects appear across any test, so the record gives no direct signal of suspension bushes, brake discs, corrosion, or exhaust issues. The absence of flagged wear on a high-mileage Mondeo implies either diligent upkeep or tests that omitted minor notes. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of structural integrity, subframe rust, and binding calipers given the age. Given the clean MOT trail, previous owners likely kept basic consumables within legal limits. The low 852-mile gap between 2024 and 2025 suggests the car stood idle or covered short local trips, which can encourage seized suspension joints or flat-spotted tyres unseen by the tester.
