2014 KIA Sorento 2.2L Diesel · AJ64 RNN

The 2014 Kia Sorento presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 5 August 2025 at 78,851 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken five-year sequence of clean MOT results. Annual mileage has stayed low for the vehicle's age. From the 25 August 2021 test at 49,488 miles to the 5 August 2025 test at 78,851 miles, the Sorento covered 29,363 miles across four years, an average of roughly 7,340 miles per year. The record shows no gaps, rapid accumulation, or sudden jumps between tests; each August examination logged steady incremental use consistent with light private motoring. No advisories or defects appear in any entry from 2021 through 2025. The absence of flagged items such as worn suspension bushes, corroded structure, or failing brake components suggests the previous keeper kept basic upkeep current. A clean sheet across five tests implies no recurring mechanical fault trend requiring correction. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection despite the spotless record. Twelve years of age invites unseen corrosion on sills and subframes not always caught in a test bay, and standing periods between low-mileage use can stiffen calipers or perish rubber mounts. Verify service history, check underside structural integrity, and confirm brake disc condition before purchase.
