2014 Nissan Note 1.2L Petrol · AJ64 RWZ

The 2014 Nissan Note presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 18 September 2025 at 44,808 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken five-year sequence of clean MOT results. The recorded mileage confirms very light use for a twelve-year-old vehicle. From the 20 September 2021 test at 38,784 miles to the 18 September 2025 test at 44,808 miles, the car covered just 6,024 miles over four years, averaging roughly 1,506 miles annually against a lifetime mean near 3,734. The DVSA history shows no gaps, rapid accumulation, or failure events, and each annual test passed with no advisories noted. Given the sparse and clean record, the buyer should still verify in person the items a low-mileage, frequently stationary car tends to degrade silently. Standing periods accelerate perishing of suspension bushes, tyre sidewalls, and brake caliper seals even when the tester records no fault. Inspect the underbody and sills for corrosion, check brake discs for surface pitting from disuse, and confirm the exhaust emissions remain clean on a warm engine. No recurring mechanical or structural faults appear in the official data, so the history implies conscientious, infrequent use rather than deferred upkeep. A pre-purchase inspection remains sensible to catch age-related wear the MOT did not flag.
