2018 BMW X3 2.0L Diesel · AU18 TZP

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness with a remarkably stable maintenance history. The most recent test conducted on 25 February 2026 at 65,413 miles resulted in no defects or advisories, continuing a streak of five clean passes. This lack of recorded faults suggests the vehicle has been maintained to a high standard and has not suffered from recurring mechanical or structural failures during its tenure. The mileage pattern is consistent with typical annual use for its age, averaging approximately 8,200 miles per year. Between March 2022 and February 2026, the vehicle covered 37,818 miles, showing a steady progression of roughly 9,000 to 10,000 miles between annual inspections. This regularity indicates consistent use rather than long periods of standing, which often leads to seal degradation or brake corrosion in older German vehicles. The absence of any advisories over these five years implies that items such as suspension bushes and exhaust components have remained consistently within acceptable operating parameters. While the MOT record shows no technical failures, a physical inspection should still focus on common wear points for BMW vehicles of this age and mileage. Given the 65,000-mile mark, the buyer should verify the condition of the brake discs and pads, as the MOT does not measure thickness until they reach legal limits. Checking the rubberity in the suspension and the control arm bushings is advisable, as these components can perish over time even without triggering a test failure. The clean history provides a strong foundation, but a visual check of fluid levels and tyre integrity remains necessary to confirm the data's current physical state.
