2016 BMW 420 2.0L Diesel · AW04 KAZ

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile based on the recent testing history. The most recent MOT test on 24 November 2025 at 76,032 miles resulted in a pass with no recorded defects, following a failure just three days prior at the same mileage. This immediate rectification of the failure suggests a minor component-related issue or a light-touch fault that was quickly addressed, indicating that the vehicle currently meets the minimum safety and emissions standards. The mileage pattern is consistent with a ten-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 7,600 miles per annum. Between January 2023 and December 2024, the car covered 8,379 miles, showing a period of moderate use. The interval between December 2024 and November 2025 saw an accumulation of 4,037 miles, which reflects a slight drop in usage but maintains the overall trend. This low-mileage profile typically reduces wear on high-stress components like the turbocharger, clutch, and suspension bushings compared to high-mileage examples. While the digital record shows no recurring mechanical failures or structural corrosion, a buyer should still perform a physical inspection of the suspension system. Low-use vehicles of this age can suffer from perished rubber arm bushings and worn coil springs despite the low mileage. The buyer should also check the brake discs for surface pitting or caliper binding, as infrequent use can sometimes lead to uneven wear of the braking system. Given the lack of advisories in the recent records, the vehicle appears to have been maintained to a standard level by its previous owners.
