2013 Ford Galaxy 1.6L Diesel · AW04 KEZ

The vehicle remains roadworthy, but the maintenance history indicates a trend of deferred reactive repairs rather than preventative care. The most recent test in October 2025 at 92,735 miles followed an initial failure due to multiple electrical faults and headlamp alignment issues. While the vehicle passed on the re-test, the presence of new advisories for both rear lower suspension arm bushes and front tyre deat suggests that the owner is only addressing defects once they reach the threshold of a failure. The mileage pattern is consistent with a low-to-medium-use profile, averaging approximately 7,100 miles per year. There was a significant jump of 20,660 miles between the October 2022 test (37,343 miles) and the 2024 test (78,003 miles), followed by another 14,732 miles in the following year. This accelerated use suggests the vehicle is currently being driven frequently, which explains the age-related degradation of rubber components and perished surfaces despite the relatively low odometer reading. A buyer must pay close attention to the rear suspension geometry, as the worn lower arm bushes flagged in 2025 are likely to cause uneven tyre wear and handling instability. The recurring issues with nearside rear registration plate lamps and reflectors across 2024 and 2025 indicate a lack of attention to minor exterior lighting maintenance. Physical inspection of the nearside rear wheel, which was noted as distorted in 2024, is essential to ensure the distortion has not caused vibration or damage to the wheel hub and bearing assembly.
