2005 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · AY05 XTA

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent history of passing tests. The most recent inspection conducted in March 2026 at 81,102 miles resulted in no recorded defects or advisories, indicating that the car currently meets the minimum safety standards. This follows a brief failure in March 2025 where the vehicle was immediately rectified to achieve a pass, suggesting the previous owner was proactive in addressing mechanical issues once they arose during testing. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 21-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 3,862 miles per year. Between March 2023 and March 2026, the car covered 16,635 miles, maintaining a steady usage rate of roughly 5,500 miles annually. This low level of use typically results in less mechanical wear on the drivetrain and engine components, though such low-mileage cars can sometimes suffer from the degradation of rubber-based components and brake systems due to lack of movement. Given the clean records in the most recent tests, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on structural integrity and common failure points for this era. Inspect the underside for sills and rear arches to detect corrosion, as low-mileage vehicles often mask surface rust that remains undisturbed. Check the suspension bushes and coil springs for cracking, and verify that the brake discs are free of excessive pitting, which can occur when a vehicle sits for long periods between uses.
