The 2012 Mercedes‑Benz Sprinter has passed every MOT test recorded, the most recent being 31 July 2025 at 98,262 miles, with no defects noted. This consistency indicates a stable maintenance trend, with no emerging issues reported over the last four years. The mileage figures show 98,262 miles after 14 years, averaging roughly 7,019 miles per year. The interval between the 2023‑06‑20 test (93,163 miles) and the 2021‑10‑04 test (91,070 miles) spans 1 year 8 months, a normal gap for a vehicle of this age. No sudden increases in mileage are evident, and the data remain clean throughout the record. When viewing the vehicle in person, focus on consumables and wear components that are not flagged in the MOT but can affect long‑term reliability. Check tyre tread depth, sidewall integrity and pressure. Inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for cracking or excessive play. Examine the brake system: verify that the calipers engage smoothly, that the brake discs are free of scoring or warping, and that the pads show adequate thickness. Look for corrosion on the chassis, especially in the wheel arches and underbody, and confirm that the exhaust system is intact and free of leaks. Also confirm that the battery, engine oil, coolant and transmission fluid are within recommended levels and that there are no signs of leaks or abnormal wear. Overall, the MOT history shows no recurring faults, suggesting that previous owners have maintained the vehicle to a satisfactory standard. A thorough visual and functional check of the items above will confirm that the Sprinter remains roadworthy and help identify any hidden wear that could affect future performance.
