2012 Yamaha XJ 6 N ABS 0.6L Petrol · AY12 ZDA

The 2024-07-12 MOT at 14,160 miles passed with no defects, confirming stable roadworthiness. The three consecutive passes show no worsening trend; the record is stable. The mileage pattern reflects light use for a 2012 model, climbing from 13,359 miles on 2022-03-04 to 13,956 miles on 2023-06-12 and then to 14,160 miles on 2024-07-12. The gaps of roughly 15 months and 13 months between tests suggest periods of standing, and the annual average of about 1,011 miles is low for the vehicle’s age. A buyer should inspect suspension bushes and coil springs for wear, check brake discs and calipers for binding or corrosion, and look for any structural rust or fatigue in the chassis. Although the MOT history records no defects, visual confirmation of these components remains essential. Given the clean record and low mileage, the vehicle appears well maintained, but a physical examination will verify that hidden wear has not developed.
