2022 MINI Cooper S Shadow Edition Auto 2.0L Petrol · B4 AMB

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness based on its remarkably clean MOT history. The most recent inspection conducted on 1 August 2025 at 24,227 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the vehicle has operated within manufacturer parameters without triggering any mechanical failures or structural concerns during the last two testing cycles. The mileage pattern is consistent with a low-useage modern vehicle, averaging approximately 6,000 miles per year. Between the August 2024 test at 23,755 miles and the August 2025 test at 24,227 miles, the car covered only 472 miles. This low accumulation suggests short-distance trips or infrequent use, which typically results in less wear on drivetrain components, suspension bushes, and brake assemblies compared to high-mileage counterparts. Because the MOT record shows no recurring faults or warnings regarding corrosion and brake performance, a physical inspection should focus on age-related items that the MOT does not fully test. A buyer should verify the condition of the tyres for uneven wear resulting from long standing periods and check the brake discs for signs of pitting. Given the low mileage, the buyer should also inspect the rubber hoses and fluid levels to ensure the service intervals have been followed despite the long gaps between tests.
