1993 Mercedes 300 3.0L Petrol · B4 RPH

The vehicle maintains a high level of roadworthiness, demonstrating a remarkably stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted in February 2025 at 103,653 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This streak of clean results across the last five annual tests suggests the vehicle has been kept to a high standard and has not suffered from the typical degradation seen in older European cars. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 33-year-old Mercedes, averaging approximately 3,141 miles per year. Between December 2019 and February 2025, the car covered only 1,447 miles, indicating periods of very light use or long-term storage. While this low mileage reduces wear on drivetrain components and engine internals, it introduces risks related to age-related materials. The consistency of the mileage figures suggests the odometer is accurate, though the lack of use means the vehicle has likely sat for extended periods over the last six years. Despite the clean MOT history, a physical inspection must focus on components affected by low-mileage storage. A buyer should check the structural integrity for hidden corrosion in the sills and floor pans, as moisture often accumulates in stationary vehicles. Rubber components, including suspension bushes, engine hoses, and tyres, should be inspected for cracking or perished regardless of tread depth. The braking system also requires scrutiny for seized calipers or pitted discs, which frequently occur when a car is not driven regularly to clear away surface rust.
