2013 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · BG63 FWA

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness, evidenced by a consistent record of clean passes over the last five years. The most recent test conducted in January 2026 at 39,928 miles showed no defects or advisories, indicating a stable maintenance trend. This suggests the previous owners have maintained the car to a standard that avoids the mechanical or structural failures typically flagged during annual DVSA inspections. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a 2013 Honda Jazz, averaging approximately 3,000 miles per annum. Between January 2022 and January 2026, the car covered only 4,443 miles, showing a consistent pattern of minimal usage of roughly 1,100 miles annually. While this low mileage reduces the wear on the engine and drivetrain components, it introduces specific risks related to the degradation of rubber components, fluid breakdown, and corrosion due to lack of use rather than mechanical stress. Given that the MOT history shows no recurring faults, an in-person inspection should focus on components affected by low-mileage storage. A buyer should check for surface rust on brake discs and seized calipers, which often occur when a vehicle sits stationary for long periods. The suspension bushings and sidewalls should be inspected for cracking or perishation, as rubber ages over time regardless of distance driven. Additionally, the tyres should be checked for flat spotting or dry cracking, as the tread depth may be sufficient while the age of the rubber exceeds its safe life.
