2016 Audi A3 1.4L Petrol · BW65 AEP

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile based on the available MOT history. The most recent test on 09 May 2025 at 82,361 miles resulted in no defects, indicating that the car currently meets all safety and emissions standards. While a single failure occurred in April 2024, the owner successfully rectified the issue within two days to secure a clean pass, suggesting a proactive approach to necessary repairs. The mileage pattern is consistent with typical usage for a vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 8,200 miles per year. Between April 2022 (60,272 miles) and May 2025 (82,361 miles), the car covered over 22,000 miles, showing a steady rate of operation. The 5,528-mile gap between the April 2024 and 2025 tests indicates regular driving habits, which generally reduces the risk of component seizure or fluid degradation often associated with long periods of inactivity. Given the clean records in the last two successful tests, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on components that naturally wear out around the 80,000-mile mark. This includes checking the condition of suspension bushes, coil springs, and the thickness of the brake discs and pads. Since the record does not highlight structural corrosion or recurring mechanical failures, the inspection of the underbody for surface rust is merely advisable to ensure the structural integrity remains sound as the vehicle enters its second decade.
