2013 MINI Cooper S 1.6L Petrol · C24 LEH

The vehicle was recorded as PASSING its most recent MOT on 9 February 2026 at 98,373 miles, indicating it met the statutory roadworthiness criteria at that date. All earlier tests – September 2023, February 2024, February 2025 and the earlier February 2026 entry – also returned PASS results with no recorded defects, demonstrating a consistently clean MOT record and no evident deterioration over the four‑year span. Mileage has risen from 70,084 miles in September 2023 to 98,373 miles by February 2026, an increase of 28,289 miles in roughly two and a half years. The jump of 11,957 miles between February 2025 and February 2026, and the prior rise of 11,957 miles between February 2024 and February 2025, suggest a period of accelerated use compared with the earlier modest 1,762‑mile gain from September 2023 to February 2024. For a 13‑year‑old MINI Cooper S, the cumulative mileage of 98,373 miles remains within typical usage levels, but the recent higher annual averages warrant attention to wear‑related components. A prospective buyer should give particular focus to items that experience accelerated wear under increased mileage. Inspect tyre tread depth and uniformity, as higher mileage often accelerates tyre degradation. Examine brake pads and discs for glazing or thinning, and verify that calipers move freely without binding. Check suspension elements – especially front and rear bushes and coil springs – for signs of fatigue or corrosion, as the MINI’s sport‑tuned setup can be sensitive to excessive road loads. A visual survey of under‑body panels for rust, especially around the wheel arches and chassis rails, remains prudent despite the clean MOT history. Overall, the MOT data presents a vehicle that has maintained statutory compliance without recurring faults, but the recent mileage surge means the buyer should verify the condition of consumables and suspension components before finalising purchase.
