A sporadic testing history characterized by intermittent gaps and isolated failures defines this vehicle's roadworthiness record. While the most recent entries from August 2022 and June 2021 were clean passes with no defects, the wider history includes failures in 2006 and 2011. This suggests a trend of stability in recent years, though the overall record is fragmented. The recorded mileage of 301 miles across 41 years represents an extreme low-usage profile, averaging roughly 7 miles per year. A significant testing gap exists between July 2011 and June 2021, indicating the vehicle was likely off the road for a decade. Mechanically, such prolonged periods of inactivity can lead to the degradation of rubber seals and the hardening of suspension bushes. Guidance for a physical inspection should be informed by the 2006 failure regarding a sticking brake identified during a rear roller test. During a test drive, the buyer should listen for any dragging sounds from the rear wheels and feel for any uneven braking force or pedal judder. It is essential to confirm that the brakes release fully and do not cause the vehicle to pull during deceleration. The 2011 failure involved multiple electrical defects, specifically the horn, direction indicators, and stop lamps. Although these were resolved for the subsequent test, the buyer should thoroughly verify the operation of all lighting circuits and the horn. Particular attention should be paid to the responsiveness of the switches and the consistency of the illumination to ensure no intermittent faults have returned following the vehicle's periods of standing.
