2019 Honda NC 0.7L Petrol · CA19 PVJ

The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status with a clean mechanical record across its history. The most recent MOT test on 15 May 2024 at 15,644 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. While the record shows a technical failure on that same date, the lack of any reported defects on the failure suggests an administrative error or a minor issue that was immediately rectified before the passing test, indicating no systemic mechanical or structural failure. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a seven-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,235 miles per year. Between the March 2022 test at 8,697 miles and the March 2023 test at 12,200 miles, the car covered 3,503 miles, followed by another 3,444 miles leading to the May 2024 test. This consistent, low usage suggests minimal wear on drivetrain components, engine internals, and suspension bushings, though it also raises concerns associated with the vehicle standing for long periods. A prospective buyer should focus their physical inspection on components affected by low-mileage, long-term storage. Check the brake discs for corrosion or seized calipers, as infrequent use often leads to surface pitting and uneven wear. Inspect the tyres for sidew cracking or flat spots rather than just tread depth, as the age of the rubber likely exceeds the distance driven. Given the clean history, the structural integrity of the chassis appears sound, but verifying that no hidden rust has developed despite the lack of airflow remains essential.
