2020 Toyota Corolla Icon HEV CVT 1.8L Hybrid electric (clean) · CA69 VMJ

The 2026‑02‑09 MOT confirms the 2020 Toyota Corolla Icon HEV CVT remains roadworthy, having passed with zero defects at 11,716 miles. All four annual tests since 2023 have recorded clean outcomes, indicating a stable maintenance record with no evidence of recurring mechanical faults. The vehicle’s mileage rose from 6,373 miles in February 2023 to 11,716 miles by February 2026, an average increase of roughly 1,600 miles per year, well below the typical 12,000‑mile annual usage for a six‑year‑old car. The incremental growth is steady, with no abrupt jumps that would suggest a recent high‑intensity period or long periods of standing. A buyer should therefore inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for wear or cracking, examine the brake discs and calipers for binding or excessive wear, and check the exhaust system and chassis for rust or structural damage. Although the MOT history shows no recorded defects, low mileage can mask age‑related deterioration of rubber components, fluid condition, and tyre tread, so a physical assessment of these items is essential before purchase.
