2009 Audi A3 Diesel · CK59 AOF

The Audi A3 passed its most recent MOT on 17 January 2024 at 136,645 miles with no defects recorded, indicating the vehicle presented as roadworthy at that time. The maintenance trend appears stable across the available history, with clean passes in January 2022 at 124,246 miles and January 2023 at 129,851 miles. The paired fail and pass entries on the same dates in 2023 and 2024 show no defects logged, which suggests administrative re-tests rather than mechanical faults. Annual mileage averaged roughly 8,000 miles against the car's 17-year life, a typical use pattern for this age of vehicle. The records show 124,246 miles in January 2022, rising to 129,851 by January 2023 and 136,645 by January 2024, equating to about 5,600 and 6,800 miles per year in those periods. No gaps or sudden accumulation appear. The sparse, clean record gives little evidence of neglected consumables or deferred structural repair. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs and calipers, given the car's age and the absence of advisory notes that often mask worn components. The DVSA data carries no corrosion or exhaust emission flags, but undocumented rust on sills or subframes remains plausible on a 2009 shell. The same-day fail and pass structure in 2023 and 2024 implies the prior owner addressed any presentation issue promptly. Treat the clean history as a positive signal of basic upkeep, yet verify underside structural integrity before purchase.
