2016 Skoda Citigo 1.0L Petrol · CT61 AMT

This Skoda Citigo demonstrates an exemplary record of mechanical stability, having maintained a clean bill of health across its entire testing history. The absence of any recorded defects or advisories over several consecutive years, including the most recent pass on 25 November 2025, indicates a vehicle that has remained consistently compliant with DVSA roadworthiness standards without the typical degradation seen in city cars of this vintage. With a recorded mileage of 41,648 miles, the vehicle has averaged approximately 4,165 miles per year, which is significantly lower than the national average for a ten-year-old car. This low-intensity usage profile suggests minimal wear on the drivetrain and primary mechanical assemblies. However, such a low annual accumulation rate suggests the vehicle may have been used for short urban trips or spent extended periods stationary, which can influence the condition of rubber components and fluid intervals. Given the total absence of MOT advisories, the primary objective during a physical inspection should be to verify that the vehicle's condition matches its pristine paperwork. Particular attention should be paid to the condition of the suspension bushes and tyre sidewalls, as these rubber components can perish over time regardless of mileage. Ensure there are no signs of fluid leaks around the engine bay or evidence of surface corrosion on the underbody that may not have reached the threshold of an MOT failure. During the test drive, focus on the smoothness of the drivetrain and the responsiveness of the braking system. Listen for any unusual knocks or rattles over uneven surfaces, which would indicate wear in the suspension linkages not yet flagged by the DVSA. Confirm that the steering is centered and there is no pull to either side, ensuring the vehicle's alignment remains true despite its low usage.
