2012 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L Diesel · CV12 FFN

The most recent MOT on 18 November 2025 at 169,052 miles passed with no defects recorded, confirming the vehicle is currently roadworthy and the maintenance record shows a stable trend with no recurring failures. The 2012 Volkswagen Jetta has accumulated 169,052 miles over 14 years, averaging 12,075 miles annually, which is high for its age. Mileage rose from 102,566 miles in April 2022 to 106,285 miles in January 2023, a gain of 3,719 miles in nine months, then surged to 169,052 miles by November 2025, indicating rapid and intensive annual driving. A buyer should inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for wear, test the binding calipers and brake discs for uneven wear, examine the chassis and wheel arches for structural rust, and verify exhaust emission levels, as the high mileage and consecutive tests imply accelerated wear on these components. The absence of recorded defects across four tests suggests consistent upkeep, yet the elevated annual mileage warrants close scrutiny of tyre tread, wiper blade condition, and any hidden corrosion that could compromise structural integrity.
