2007 Volkswagen Polo 1.4L Petrol · CV57 CPO

The 2007 Volkswagen Polo presents a currently roadworthy status, having passed its most recent MOT on 10 October 2023 at 68,048 miles with no defects recorded. The maintenance trend across the supplied history is stable, with every annual test from 2021 to 2023 resulting in a pass or a same-day pass following a no-defect failure. No advisories or mechanical faults appear at any stage, indicating the vehicle has not shown worsening condition or recurring component failures within this record. The mileage pattern reflects exceptionally light use for a nineteen-year-old car. Recorded distance rose from 61,639 miles at the 28 September 2021 failure to 64,120 miles by 11 October 2022, then to 68,048 miles at the 10 October 2023 pass. That equates to roughly 3,200 to 3,900 miles per year. The two 2021 entries sit only seven days apart at near-identical mileages, and the 2023 failure and pass were logged on the same day, both at 68,045 and 68,048 miles. The DVSA data is sparse and clean, showing no flagged wear on tyres, brakes, suspension, or structure. Given the low annual mileage and absence of recorded defects, the Polo likely saw gentle domestic use with basic statutory testing met. A buyer should still inspect in person for age-related corrosion on sills, subframes, and suspension mounting points, as MOT passes with no advisories do not confirm absence of early structural rust on a 2007 shell. Check suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake disc condition for deterioration from prolonged standing rather than wear. Verify the 2023 pass remains the only valid test, as no entry exists beyond October 2023 and the vehicle is now over thirty months from its last examination. Confirm actual odometer reading matches the 68,048 miles logged, and commission an independent inspection of drivetrain oil condition and coolant before purchase.
