2007 Honda CB1300 1.3L Petrol · CV57 PXO

The vehicle is currently roadworthy, though the maintenance trend shows a slight decline in preventative consumable management. While the most recent test in April 2024 resulted in a pass, the inspector noted an offside front tyre worn close to the legal limit. This follows a period of relatively clean records, suggesting that while the mechanical components have held firm, basic maintenance items like tyres are beginning to require immediate attention. The recorded mileage of 40,660 miles is exceptionally low for a 19-year-old motorcycle, averaging approximately 2,140 miles per year. There is a notable gap in testing history between September 2020 and April 2022, during which the bike sat for nearly two years with minimal mileage accumulation. This low usage profile reduces mechanical wear on the engine and drivetrain, but long periods of standing can lead to degradation of rubber components and fluid oxidation, which are not captured by mileage figures alone. A buyer should conduct a thorough physical inspection of the tyres, as the history indicates a recurring failure to monitor or replace tread depth before failure. Given the low mileage and age of the vehicle, it is critical to check for flat spotting, sidewall cracking, and dry seals that may have perished due to lack of use. Additionally, the bike should be inspected for corrosion on the frame and artwork, as low-mileageion does not protect a vehicle from environmental age over two decades.
