2022 Toyota Corolla Excel HEV CVT 1.8L Hybrid electric (clean) · CX22 XBB

The vehicle maintains a high standard of roadworthiness with a perfectly stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted on 12 January 2026 at 27,325 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a clean result from the previous year, indicating that the mechanical and structural components have remained within manufacturer parameters without any signs of failure or preemptive wear. The mileage pattern is consistent with a well-maintained modern commuter car, averaging approximately 6,800 miles per annum. Between the January 2025 test at 21,181 miles and the January 2026 test at 27,325 miles, the car covered 6,144 miles. This suggests regular usage rather than prolonged periods, which typically results in less stress on the CVT gearbox, suspension bushings, and braking components compared to high-mileage fleet vehicles. Since the MOT record shows no history of faults, structural corrosion, or mechanical issues, a physical inspection should focus on standard consumable wear. A buyer should verify the condition of the tyres and brake pads, as low mileage can sometimes lead to flat spotting or uneven wear. Given the hybrid nature of the powertrain, checking the service history for oil changes and hybrid cooling system levels is the logical next step to ensure the clean MOT record is backed by diligent mechanical maintenance.
