2012 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2L Diesel · CY62 HVM

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, evidenced by a consistent history of clean MOT passes. The most recent test, conducted in February 2025 at 127,003 miles, returned no defects or advisories, indicating a high level of immediate mechanical safety compliance. This trend suggests that the previous owners have maintained the car to a standard that avoids the accumulation of deferred repairs or safety-related failures. The mileage pattern is remarkably consistent for a 14-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 9,000 miles per year. Between August 2020 at 91,447 miles and February 2025 at 127,003 miles, the car covered roughly 35,500 miles, reflecting a steady usage pattern rather than long periods of neglect. There are no significant gaps in the testing schedule that would suggest the vehicle sat stationary for extended durations, which helps prevent the typical degradation of rubber components like perished seals or seized calipers associated with long-term inactivity. Despite the clean digital record, an in-person inspection should focus on components prone to age-related wear on this Vauxhall platform. A buyer must verify the structural integrity of the sills and wheel arches for early-stage corrosion that may not yet trigger an MOT failure until it becomes perforated. Given the mileage exceeds 125,000 miles, a physical check of the suspension bushes and shock absorber mounts is essential, as these are often the first items to degrade at this mileage regardless of a clean MOT history.
