1987 Toyota Supra 3.0L Petrol · D576 GRV

The 1987 Toyota Supra presents a currently roadworthy status with a stable maintenance trend, evidenced by the most recent MOT test on 26 March 2025 at 53,352 miles returning a pass with no defects recorded. Prior to that, the vehicle passed again on 6 October 2021 at 52,030 miles with no advisories. The single failure logged on 6 October 2021 at the identical mileage of 52,030 miles carries no defects, indicating an administrative or presentation issue at the testing station rather than a mechanical fault. The record shows no recurring wear items or structural concerns across the available entries. The odometer reading of 53,352 miles against nearly 39 years of age equates to circa 1,368 miles per year, confirming exceptionally light use. Between the October 2021 test at 52,030 miles and the March 2025 test at 53,352 miles, the vehicle covered only 1,322 miles over three and a half years. A notable gap exists before 2021, with no earlier history supplied, but the clean post-2021 entries and low annual accumulation suggest the car has seen minimal road exposure. Sparse records preclude deeper trend analysis, though the absence of advisories implies previous keepers addressed consumables before testing. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection focused on age-related degradation not captured by MOT passes. Long stationary periods risk perished suspension bushes, seized brake calipers, and corroded brake discs or exhaust components. The structural integrity of the chassis and sills warrants close checking for rust given the vehicle's 1987 manufacture date. Verify the 2021 failure anomaly with DVSA to confirm no suppressed defect. Otherwise, the documented history supports a low-mileage example retained to a reasonable standard, with no evidence of skipped basic upkeep such as tyre or wiper neglect.
