2007 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2L Petrol · DA07 AAX

The vehicle is currently roadworthy and demonstrates a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test in July 2024 at 87,804 miles resulted in a pass with no recorded defects, indicating that the mechanical and safety components met the required standards. This follows a clean pass in July 2023 at 84,539 miles, suggesting that any issues identified during the brief failure that same year were successfully addressed and rectified by the owner. The mileage profile is notably low for a 19-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 4,600 miles per year. There is a significant gap in the records between April 2021 at 74,150 miles and July 2022, where the record shows a data entry error—likely a clerical mistake—recording 800,005 miles. Since that anomaly, the car has seen consistent, light usage, covering roughly 3,500 miles annually. This low annual mileage often results in less wear on the drivetrain and engine internal components compared to high-mileage counterparts. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on the structural integrity and rubber components, as the age of the Corsa makes it susceptible to corrosion irrespective of low mileage. Inspect the underside sills, floor pans, and wheel arches for structural rust, which is common on this model. Given the low usage frequency, check the suspension bushes and tyre sidewalls for cracking or rot, as rubber can dry out and degrade over time even when stationary. Additionally, verify the brakes for binding calipers or pitting, as vehicles that sit frequently often suffer from surface oxidation on the brake discs.
