2019 Volkswagen Touareg 3.0L Diesel · DA19 CHN

The Volkswagen Touareg presents as roadworthy following the most recent test on 6 February 2026 at 84,827 miles, where the tester recorded no defects and issued a pass. The maintenance trend reads as stable across the available history, with every recorded examination either passing or failing on administrative grounds rather than mechanical fault. The only blemish is a failure on 3 February 2026 at 84,798 miles showing no defects recorded, which points to a documentation or presentation issue at the testing station rather than a deterioration in the vehicle's condition. Mileage sat at 38,161 miles for the April 2023 test, then jumped to 46,154 by February 2024 and 68,407 by January 2025, before reaching 84,827 in February 2026. That equates to roughly 16,000 to 18,000 miles per year across the last three intervals, above the 12,118 annual average implied by the age. The early life saw lighter use, but the recent accumulation is brisk and will have loaded consumables, drivetrain, and suspension components harder than a low-mileage example. No advisories or defects appear in any entry, so the record gives no direct signal of worn suspension bushes, corroded structure, or failing brake discs. A clean sheet across five years is a positive indicator that prior owners kept the Touareg to a reasonable standard, though MOT passes with zero advisories can still mask emerging wear not yet at test threshold. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of the underbody for corrosion, check front and rear brake disc thickness and caliper operation, and assess suspension arm bushes given the high recent mileage. Verify the reason for the February 2026 failure with no defects logged, as that anomaly may affect confidence in the test trail.
