2013 Ford Galaxy 2.0L Diesel · DB53 LVB

The Ford Galaxy presents as roadworthy following its most recent examination. The tester passed the vehicle on 20 February 2026 at 44,194 miles with no defects recorded. The maintenance trend is stable across the available history, with no advisories or mechanical faults flagged at any stage. Recorded mileage sits at 44,194 against a 2013 registration, equating to roughly 3,400 miles per year. The DVSA entries show light annual use: 38,108 miles on 26 February 2024, rising to 40,667 by 26 February 2025 and 44,194 by February 2026. The sparse, clean record gives little cause for concern on consumable wear, though low standing mileage often masks perished rubber components and corroding brake discs that infrequent movement accelerates. The back-to-back fail and pass on 19 and 20 February 2026, both at identical mileage and with no defects listed, points to an administrative or documentation issue rather than a mechanical defect. Likewise the 25/26 February 2025 pair shows the same pattern. A buyer should still verify the V5C and test certificate to confirm no suppressed fault. In person, inspect suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake calipers for binding after prolonged storage, and check structural integrity underneath for corrosion given the vehicle's age. Given the absence of recorded advisories across three years, previous keepers appear to have maintained the Galaxy to a basic pass standard. Confirm tyre sidewall condition and wiper blade flexibility, as these minor items degrade on low-use vehicles without triggering MOT flags.
