2015 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0L Diesel · DC15 TWV

The Volkswagen Tiguan presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 1 September 2025 at 78,467 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, following an anomalous failure on the same date and mileage that listed no defects, indicating an administrative re-test rather than a mechanical fault. Prior tests in October 2024 at 73,164 miles, August 2023 at 66,299 miles, and August 2022 at 59,859 miles all passed cleanly with no advisories raised. The recorded mileage of 78,467 over roughly eleven years equates to about 7,133 miles per year, which sits within typical use for a 2015 vehicle. Annual accumulation stayed consistent: 6,440 miles between the 2022 and 2023 tests, 6,865 to 2024, and 5,303 to the 2025 examination. No gaps or sudden spikes appear in the sequence. The DVSA record is sparse on faults, showing no flagged consumable wear, suspension bushes, brake discs, corrosion, or exhaust emissions issues across the five entries. A clean MOT lineage with zero advisories suggests the previous keeper maintained basic statutory standards, though the absence of recorded wear offers no insight into hidden component condition. Buyers should still commission an independent inspection of structural integrity, coil springs, and binding calipers, as these items can degrade without triggering test failures at low annual mileage. Given the car stood at 78,467 miles for nearly ten months before the current date of 8 July 2026, verify in person that it has not since been driven on worn tyres or degraded wiper blades omitted from the record. The history supports a sound purchase basis, but physical verification remains prudent on an eleven-year-old SUV.
