2015 Mazda CX-5 2.2L Diesel · DC65 AOZ

The 2015 Mazda CX-5 presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 18 September 2025 at 60,892 miles passed with no defects recorded, and the four preceding annual examinations likewise returned clean results. No advisories or recurring mechanical faults appear anywhere in the DVSA history, indicating the vehicle has not required corrective work across the observed period. Recorded mileage sits at 60,892 against an eleven-year lifespan, equating to roughly 5,536 miles per year and marking the car as low-use for its age. The tests show gentle accumulation: 47,749 miles in November 2022, 51,271 in November 2023, 53,559 in September 2024, and 60,892 by September 2025. A three-day gap between a failure and pass in late November 2022 at near-identical mileages (47,725 then 47,749) suggests a documentary or administrative rejection rather than a mechanical defect, since no faults were listed on either entry. The sparse, clean record gives little evidence of neglected consumables or deferred servicing. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection despite the unblemished MOT trail. Low annual mileage and the 2022 three-day test anomaly imply the car may have stood unused for extended spells, raising the risk of perished suspension bushes, flat-spotted tyres, or corroded brake discs from moisture ingress. The absence of advisories means worn coil springs or binding calipers would not surface in the data even if present at mild levels. Verify underneath body structural integrity for rust at chassis mounting points and sill sections, as the official tests recorded no corrosion checks requiring action. Confirm brake fluid condition and inspect the exhaust emissions system, since neither factor is captured by a pass with no defects. The previous keeper clearly maintained basic test compliance, but the low mileage demands hands-on checks that paper records cannot supply.
