2004 Vauxhall Corsa 1.0L Petrol · DE04 CUH

The 2004 Vauxhall Corsa presents a stable roadworthiness trend, with the most recent test on 3 May 2025 at 93,676 miles returning a pass and no defects recorded. Prior to that, the May 2024 cycle shows a clean pass at 90,129 miles following a failed attempt on 1 May 2024 at 90,119 miles where the tester logged no defects, indicating an administrative or presentational failure rather than a mechanical fault. The vehicle has carried no advisories or recorded wear items across the five tests supplied, which points to a consistently serviceable condition over the observed period. At roughly 22 years old the Corsa shows 93,676 recorded miles, an average of about 4,258 miles per year. The records span 9 June 2022 at 84,177 miles through to May 2025 at 93,676 miles, a gain of just 9,499 miles in three years. Annual use stayed low and steady, with only 4,151 miles added between the 2023 and 2024 tests and 3,547 miles between 2024 and 2025. Such limited mileage suggests extended standing periods are likely, though the clean test history gives no evidence of neglect in the supplied data. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection beneath the car. Long idle spells on a 2004 shell invite structural corrosion to floor pans, sills, and suspension mounting points even when the MOT logged no advisories. The tester recorded no suspension bushes, coil springs, or brake disc concerns, yet rubber components and brake calipers degrade with age and disuse regardless of low miles. Check the exhaust emissions system and fuel lines for deterioration from infrequent running. Verify tyre sidewall condition and any flat spots from standing, and confirm the brake calipers are free rather than seized after storage. The documentary record supports a sound used purchase, but the age demands hands-on verification of hidden rot and stale consumables.
