2016 Ford Fiesta 1.5L Diesel · DE61 WBA

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, evidenced by a consistent string of clean MOT passes. The most recent test conducted in April 2026 at 144,713 miles resulted in no defects or advisories, mirroring the results seen in the previous four years of testing. This consistency suggests that the owner has maintained the vehicle to a standard that prevents mechanical failures or safety-related defects from reaching the testing threshold. The mileage data indicates high annual usage for a ten-year-old Ford, averaging approximately 14,500 miles per year. Between the 2022 test at 77,662 miles and the April 2026 test at 144,713 miles, the car covered 67,051 miles. This rapid accumulation suggests the vehicle was likely used for long-distance motorway commuting rather than short urban trips. While high mileage often correlates with increased wear, the consistent use prevents standing but places significant mechanical load on the drivetrain, suspension bushings, and braking system. Despite the clean MOT history, an in-person inspection must focus on components susceptible to high-mileage wear. A buyer should examine the suspension geometry for perished rubber bushes and worn coil springs, as the frequent driving likely stresses these areas. The braking system should also be physically checked for signs of binding calipers or thin discs. While the record shows no historical structural corrosion, a chassis check is necessary to inspect the underside sills and mounting points to ensure the structural integrity remains sound despite the high volume of miles.
