2016 Ford Fiesta 1.5L Diesel · DGZ 7044

This 2016 Ford Fiesta demonstrates a remarkably clean recent roadworthiness status, culminating in a clear pass on the twelfth of December 2025 at 139,315 miles. The maintenance trend is highly stable with no recurring structural or mechanical defects logged over the past three test cycles. While the vehicle initially failed both the December 2024 and December 2025 tests before passing on the exact same days, the absence of recorded failure reasons suggests these initial refusals stemmed from administrative or minor pre-test rectifications rather than systemic failures. With an odometer reading of 139,315 miles accumulated over roughly ten years, the vehicle exhibits a high annual mileage average of approximately 13,932 miles. This intensive motorway or long-distance use explains the steady and predictable accumulation of roughly 12,000 to 14,000 miles between annual tests, progressing from 113,249 miles in November 2023 to 125,128 miles in December 2024, and finally reaching the current figure by December 2025. High mileage of this nature typically places accelerated demands on the drivetrain, steering rack, and suspension geometry, though the lack of formal advisories across the inspected history indicates the previous owner maintained basic compliance and roadworthiness. A physical inspection must prioritise high-wear mechanical components that naturally absorb stress during intensive mileage accumulation. Potential buyers should thoroughly check the condition of suspension bushes, coil springs, and dampers for fatigue, alongside inspecting brake discs and pads for accelerated wear or scoring. Assessing the clutch bite point and checking the engine bay for fluid leaks around the auxiliary belts and turbocharger will complete a thorough evaluation of this high-mileage hatchback.
