2020 Vauxhall Crossland X SRI NAV 1.2L Petrol · DS20 AHD

This Vauxhall Crossland X has demonstrated consistent roadworthiness over its MOT history, with the most recent test on 21 March 2026 confirming no defects at 37,217 miles. The vehicle’s maintenance record shows a stable pattern, as all three tests—conducted annually at roughly 3,000-mile intervals—have passed without advisories or failures. This suggests the vehicle has been subject to regular servicing aligned with manufacturer intervals, though the absence of advisory notes means no recurring issues have been formally documented. The lack of defects in the latest test implies the vehicle remains structurally sound and mechanically compliant with current UK standards, though a thorough inspection remains essential to verify components not routinely tested, such as suspension bushes or drivetrain fluid levels. The recorded mileage of 37,217 miles over six years reflects an average annual distance of approximately 6,200 miles, which is typical for a vehicle of this age. There are no significant gaps in the MOT cycle, with tests conducted precisely a year apart, indicating consistent compliance with legal requirements. The steady accumulation of mileage without abrupt spikes or prolonged periods of inactivity suggests the vehicle has been used regularly rather than stored, which could imply more predictable wear on consumables like tyres and brake pads. However, the sparse data does not reveal whether intermediate maintenance—such as fluid changes or suspension servicing—has been performed outside the MOT cycle. Given the clean MOT history, a buyer should prioritise an in-person inspection of high-wear components not routinely assessed in the test. Focus on the suspension system, particularly the condition of coil springs, bushes, and shock absorbers, as these are critical for ride quality and handling but not always flagged in a standard MOT. The brakes, while not failed in testing, should be examined for uneven wear, binding calipers, or corrosion on the discs and callipers, as these can develop between tests. Additionally, check for signs of structural corrosion, particularly around wheel arches, sills, and the subframe, as this is often not visible from a basic MOT inspection. Finally, verify the integrity of the exhaust system and catalytic converter, as emissions-related failures are common in modern vehicles and may not always be evident in a pass result.
