2016 Audi A4 2.0L Diesel · EG65 AAJ

The vehicle currently maintains a roadworthy status, having passed its most recent MOT in February 2026 at 151,743 miles with no recorded defects. The maintenance trend appears stable, as the car has consistently secured clean passes over the last several years. While a failure occurred in February 2025 regarding an ineffective front windscreen wiper, the issue was rectified prior to the retest, suggesting the owner is responsive to immediate safety-critical requirements. The mileage profile reflects high usage for a ten-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 15,000 miles per annum. Between January 2023 and February 2026, the car covered 30,635 miles, indicating consistent and relatively heavy annual use of over 10,000 miles in that period. This places significant stress on the drivetrain, suspension, and braking systems. The lack of long gaps between tests suggests the vehicle is used regularly and is not subjected to extended periods of standing or neglect, though the high mileage accelerates the wear of consumable rubber and metal components. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components most susceptible to high-mileage fatigue. Given the 151,000-mile mark, a thorough check of the suspension bushes, coil springs, and ball joints is essential to identify play or sagging. The braking system should be scrutinized for signs of binding calipers or thin discs, as high-frequency driving often wears these down prematurely. While the MOT history shows no major structural corrosion to date, a manual inspection of the underside chassis and floor pans is necessary to ensure that high-mileage road exposure has not compromised the structural integrity of the Audi.
