2022 Toyota Corolla Icon HEV CVT 1.8L Hybrid electric (clean) · EL72 DEL

The vehicle maintains a technically roadworthy status based on its single recorded MOT entry. The test conducted on 13 September 2022 at 30 miles resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories noted. Because there are no subsequent tests on the record, the maintenance trend remains neutral and stagnant, providing no data on the vehicle's condition over the last four years. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a four-year-old vehicle, with only 30 miles recorded since registration. This average of approximately eight miles per year suggests the car has likely sat stationary for long periods or was used with extreme rarity. While low mileage typically indicates less wear on components like suspension bushes and drivetrain parts, it introduces risks related to stagnation, such as flat-spotted tyres or brake caliper corrosion due to lack of use. A buyer must conduct a physical inspection to address the risks associated with long-term storage. Focus specifically on the brake discs for heavy surface rust or seized calipers, as these components often fail when not regularly exercised. Inspect the tyres for sidewall cracking or flat spots, which occur when the rubber ages regardless of the tread depth. Since the last MOT was over three years ago, a fresh test is now mandatory to verify the current structural integrity and emissions levels of the hybrid system.
