2012 Ford Kuga Titanium Tdci 163 2.0L Heavy oil · ERZ 6212

The most recent MOT on 2026-05-24 confirmed the vehicle passed with no defects recorded at 165,311 miles. This follows a pattern of consistent MOT compliance, with the exception of a single failure on 2025-06-12 at 153,601 miles. However, the failure report explicitly states "no defects recorded," suggesting it may have been a procedural issue or a minor technicality rather than a safety or repair concern. The MOT history shows no recurring mechanical issues. All other tests—2025-06-19, 2024-04-09, and 2023-02-20—were passed with no defects, indicating the vehicle has maintained a stable condition over the past three years. The single failure in 2025 does not appear to reflect a systemic problem, as subsequent tests have shown no signs of recurring faults. The vehicle’s mileage of 165,311 miles is consistent with its age (14 years), averaging roughly 11,808 miles per year. This suggests typical usage rather than excessive wear or prolonged under-use. While higher mileage can increase wear on components like brakes, suspension, and the drivetrain, the MOT records do not highlight any such issues. However, the age and mileage combination mean the buyer should remain vigilant for signs of component fatigue.
