2003 Honda VT750 0.7L Petrol · FC03 UNX

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status with a history of clean passes over the last three years. The most recent test conducted in April 2024 at 12,904 miles resulted with no defects or advisories recorded, indicating that the primary mechanical and structural components met the minimum standard at that time. This suggests the motorcycle has been maintained in a condition that avoids immediate failure during annual safety inspections. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 23-year-old machine, averaging approximately 561 miles per year. Between April 2021 and April 2024, the vehicle covered only 690 miles, moving from 12,214 to 12,904 miles. While this low usage reduces mechanical wear on the drivetrain and engine components, the long intervals between use often lead to the degradation of rubber-based parts and fluid chemistry, which are not fully captured by a standard MOT test. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components most affected by long-term storage rather than high mileage. The 2021 test flagged a front tyre worn close to the legal limit, but the subsequent clean records suggest this specific neglect was addressed. Inspection should now prioritize identifying dry rot in the tyres, perished rubber seals, and potential corrosion on brake calipers or discs due to inactivity. Given the age of the Honda, a thorough check of the frame for structural rust is essential to ensure the low-mileage status has not masked the underlying integrity despite the clean test history.
