2007 Fiat Doblo 1.2L Diesel · FH07 OZE

The 2007 Fiat Doblo presents a stable and improving maintenance trend, culminating in a completely clean pass at its most recent MOT on 23 July 2025 at 120,658 miles. The tester recorded zero defects, indicating the vehicle currently meets all required safety and emissions standards. A prior test on 20 August 2024 at 113,705 miles shows a failed outcome, yet the record lists no defects, suggesting an administrative or procedural issue rather than a mechanical failure, as the very same day yielded a clean pass. This pattern of defect-free certifications points to a vehicle that has been kept in a thoroughly roadworthy state by its keeper. The mileage accumulation aligns closely with the national average for a vehicle of this age, recording roughly 6,350 miles annually. Between the April 2022 test at 102,729 miles and the May 2023 test at 108,151 miles, the Doblo covered 5,422 miles over thirteen months. The subsequent fifteen months until August 2024 saw a similar 5,554-mile increase to 113,705 miles. The most recent annual cycle up to July 2025 shows a slightly higher usage of 6,953 miles, but the overall progression remains consistent and unremarkable. There are no alarming gaps or sudden spikes in the odometer readings that would suggest prolonged standing or severe misuse. Despite the flawless MOT record, a nineteen-year-old commercial vehicle demands a rigorous physical inspection. The tester flagged no structural corrosion or suspension wear, yet a buyer must physically examine the chassis rails, sills, and suspension bushes for deterioration typical of a 120,000-mile Doblo. Underbody rust often develops unseen around mounting points and box sections on these vans. Brake discs and pads may appear adequate for the test but could be nearing the end of their service life given the recent uptick in mileage. Inspect the exhaust system for corrosion and check the tyre sidewalls for age-related cracking, as rubber degrades regardless of tread depth. The clean MOT history implies diligent basic upkeep, but verifying the condition of consumables and structural integrity remains essential before purchase.
