2019 Vauxhall Grandland 1.5L Diesel · FH19 EKY

The 2019 Vauxhall Grandland presents a stable and improving maintenance trend, culminating in a clean pass on 23 February 2026 at 56,827 miles with zero defects recorded. This flawless recent outcome indicates the vehicle currently meets all required safety and emissions standards without any immediate mechanical or structural concerns. The consistent absence of advisories or failures in recent years points to a well-maintained machine that has avoided the recurring mechanical issues often seen in higher-mileage SUVs. Evaluating the mileage accumulation against its roughly seven-year lifespan reveals a typical usage pattern of approximately 8,118 miles annually. The progression shows steady, incremental gains: 41,476 miles in June 2023, 44,144 miles in April 2024, 48,948 miles in February 2025, and 56,827 miles in February 2026. The gap between the 2024 and 2025 tests covers roughly 4,800 miles over ten months, while the subsequent year saw a slightly higher accumulation of nearly 7,900 miles. There are no alarming gaps or sudden spikes in odometer readings that would suggest long periods of inactivity or severe misuse. Although the MOT record is entirely clean, a physical inspection remains prudent for a vehicle of this age and type. The 2023 test initially recorded a failure at 41,476 miles, though curiously no defects were documented alongside it, before passing on the same day; this anomaly warrants a brief check of the original testing notes if available. Buyers should inspect the condition of the suspension bushes and coil springs for premature wear, alongside the brake discs and calipers, as these components endure typical wear regardless of a clean MOT. Checking the exhaust system for corrosion and ensuring the structural integrity of the underbody remains sound will confirm the vehicle's ongoing roadworthiness.
